Therapy helped me feel seen for the first time in a long while. My depression no longer felt all-encompassing, and my emotions became more manageable. I began to feel alive again.
Now, as a therapist, my goal is to provide a supportive space for you to explore your emotions and gain insight into the thoughts and beliefs that may be holding you back from the life you want.
This journey taught me about support, trust, and being more present with myself and others. It also highlighted the importance of self-compassion and accepting all the different aspects of who I am.
Many people feel they must keep their emotions to themselves, never admitting they need help and support. The truth is, everyone faces hard times—relationship struggles, financial strain, and pressures to succeed.
Being honest and heartfelt with ourselves, and connecting to our emotions without judgment, allows us to recognize our shared humanity, which extends to everyone in our lives.
This is how we build the interconnectedness many of us crave—a strong connection to ourselves and others.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and relational, prioritizing a sense of safety and security. I will meet you where you are and work at your pace, welcoming all your thoughts and feelings.
As a graduate of the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, I believe that creating awareness of how we relate to the world around us is key to personal growth. The term ‘gestalt’ means whole, and this approach embraces all parts of us—emotions, sensations, experiences, and realities.
Becoming familiar with our inner dialogue, understanding why we feel a certain way, and connecting with our emotions and sensations allows us to work with them effectively and create meaningful change. This process helps us develop and manage our emotions with confidence and maturity.
As a therapist, I am honest and direct, committed to helping you gain a clearer understanding of what’s happening for you. Together, we can find the tools and solutions to move past your current struggles.
If we can let go of how we think we need to be, or how we think others expect us to be, we can begin to listen to ourselves and trust our own guidance. My goal is to help individuals find their direction by removing obstacles and enhancing their ability to connect with their inner wisdom.
It’s possible to experience a sense of belonging, peace, and joy in your life and relationships. I’m here to help you find it. Take the first step toward improving your interpersonal relationships by contacting me via email for more information or to book a free consultation.
